The Spice Girls are reportedly set to pocket £1m each for an upcoming Netflix documentary to mark the girl group's 30th anniversary.

The five-piece which comprises of Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Mel B, are said to have all signed up for the project with streaming giant.

A one-off performance is also being touted as a possibility.

It follows on hot the heels of the hit Netflix docu-series Beckham, which centred around Victoria's husband David and has spent the last three weeks at the top of Netflix's global chart.

"The documentary will have high production values, and the performance ideas are being explored, with Glastonbury 2024 being an obvious option," an insider told The Sun.

“Getting all five women to the table is a huge coup, and fortunately Netflix has deep enough pockets to entice top talent.

“They’re all proud of what they achieved in the band and are excited to look back at old footage and relive fond memories."

They added that the "finer details are being ironed out" described "a performance of some kind" as "the icing on the cake.”

The Spice Girls last toured together in 2020 as a four-piece minus Victoria.

The last time they performed with the full line up was during the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.

Horner and Bunton enjoyed a mini Spice Girls reunion earlier this month when Horner appeared on Bunton's Heart Radio show.

Bunton admitted that the number one question she gets asked is when they are going back on tour and outright asked Horner what the answer is.

While she admitted that it wasn't something she was looking to do at that moment in time, it certainly wasn't a case of never.
