Zara Phillips was involved in a dramatic confrontation with Stan Collymore minutes before the ex-footballer suffered a broken nose and ribs in a nightclub fight, it emerged today.

Princess Anne's daughter allegedly warned Collymore, 33, to stay away from a group of Bath Rugby Club players, including her boyfriend Mike Tindall, after he argued with the group at a Dublin club.

Collymore told the Daily Mirror Miss Phillips, 23, told him to "just f***ing go".
