Max George has paid tribute to Tom Parker on what would have been his 34th birthday by revealing he has got a tattoo of his date of birth.

The Wanted star took to Instagram to show off his new inking on his left side near his heart, which reads “04.08.1988”.

The Gold Forever hit-maker also shared a clip showing the tattoo artist at work.

He captioned his post: “Happy Birthday brother… you’re always with me”.

Parker died on March 30 age 33 following a near two-year battle with a stage 4 brain tumour.

His widow Kelsey Hardwick, with whom he shares two children, has planned a charity event this Sunday to mark his birthday.

Speaking on Instagram Live on last month, the mum-of-two explained her plans before going on to share details of the upcoming event on her main page.

“Tom Parker Charity Event - Raising money for Cancer via the ‘Ahead of the Game Foundation’,” she captioned a promotional flyer for the charity fundraiser to her 356,000 followers.

“*A fun day for all the family! * Sunday 7th August from 12pm until 5pm at Memorial Hall & Gardens in Petts Wood.”

She continued: “This event is to celebrate Tom’s legacy and his memory. We want to raise much needed funds to help others who are fighting this awful disease.

“We aim to make a positive impact on people’s lives when it is needed most.

“Tom lived in Petts Wood and to us it was home, Tom loved being part of the Petts wood community.

“I know that Tom would have loved to see the local community that he was a part of come out to support.

“August 4th would have been Tom’s 34th birthday so join us in making this a day to be remembered in memory of him.”

In addition to a 5k walk around the Petts Wood area in memory of her late husband, there will be musical performances, plus, a raffle.

Among the line-up of those set to perform are Ruthann and Ollie Marland who both sang at Parker’s funeral.

Former Towie star James “Arg” Argent has been billed as the headliner.
