They may be among our brightest young acting talents, but James McAvoy and his wife, Anne-Marie Duff, are adamant that their work schedules should not come between them.

The couple are making sure they spend every waking hour together by co-starring in two films, the historical drama The Last Station and comedy thriller Perrier's Bounty.

"James and Anne-Marie are the closest couple you will ever know and hate being apart," says a friend.

"They decided to work on the same projects so they can spend as much time as possible together."
