Adams has secret of success

13 April 2012

Sussex captain Chris Adams believes that he knows how to get the better of Lancashire.

Adams finished day one at Old Trafford on 159 not out and Sussex on 345 for seven.

He was far from his swash-buckling self en route to a 215-ball hundred, which contained a relatively modest 10 fours and two sixes.

But he said: "If we can push on and get 400, I know we have the bowlers who can perform well on this sort of track."
