Adebayor: I don't regret City move

Striker Emmanuel Adebayor insists he is committed to Manchester City - and says his bust-up with boss Roberto Mancini proves it.

The 26-year-old scored all three of City's goals as they beat Lech Poznan in the Europa League on Thursday, but he has often been left on the bench by Mancini.

That has led to suggestions he could leave the club in January, but he told The Sun: "I am committed to the club and the fight to win things and the fans should know that. I have had a row with the manager and so has Carlo Tevez. The reason we row is we are all so passionate."

He added: "We just want to be part of a successful club.

"It's not about money or egos. It's because we all want what is best for the team. These disagreements show we care.

"We have a shout, then get on with it. I think it's good. It shows we are hungry for success.

"It has been a difficult season for me. But I have never regretted my decision to come to City and will keep fighting for my chance."

City face Adebayor's former club Arsenal at Eastlands on Sunday.
