Aliadiere double puts Arsenal through

Jeremie Aliadiere netted in each half to send Arsenal into the Carling Cup fourth round at West Brom's expense.

The Gunners were always in control and never looked like being pegged back once Aliadiere had put them in front from the spot 12 minutes from half-time.

After 14 games on loan at Wolves last year, Aliadiere was hardly a favourite of the West Brom fans from the start and the Frenchman caused them further misery four minutes after the interval when he rifled home Theo Walcott's cut-back.
