All shipshape at Shiplake

Shiplake College are through to the fourth round following their tight 12-5win away to local rivals Gillott's from Henley.

The visitors were incommand for much of the first half, camping in the Gillott's 22 andeventually took the lead when a mistake by the home team's half backsallowed scrum half George Pelling to dive on a loose ball for a try.

Although Shiplake came under pressure, their defence was sound and havingheld their nerve came back to score a second try when centre Will Downingran onto Ed Blanchard's chip. Blanchard converting.

The home side were ontop in the second half but more good defence, especially from prop JamieOrpwood, restricted Gillott's to one late try.
