England A are certain to make changes for their third match in the Busta Cup against Guyana, starting on Friday, with new arrival Michael Powell likely to bat in the middle order.

Skipper Mark Alleyne said: "I imagine there will be at least two or three changes for the game in Grenada."

England A earned only two points from their draw with Trinidad and Tobago in Port of Spain.

England Under-19s produced a sloppy display in the field after lunch to allow South Zone Under-19s opener Deepak Chougule to come close to a century on the first day in Chennai.

Chougule was dropped twice off the bowling of Chris Tremlett when on 52. First John Sadler failed to hold on to a diving chance at slip and then, in Tremlett's next over, Gordon Muchall spilled a chance in the covers.

Chougule fell three short of his hundred just before tea when he edged left-arm spinner Monty Panesar to Nicky Peng at slip. At tea, South Zone had reached 211 for six.
