Another Tour for Lance

14 April 2012

Lance Armstrong has confirmed he will try to win a seventh Tour de France but it may not be until 2006.

The 33-year-old Texan, who became the first man to win six Tours last summer, will decide in April if he will race in cycling's biggest race this year.

At the launch of his team's new sponsorship deal with the Discovery Channel, Armstrong said: "The deal is that I will do a Tour, if not more. That could be in 2005 or 2006, but I am fully committed to doing it."
