Baggies edge Molineux thriller

12 April 2012

Diomansy Kamara's well-taken winner handed West Brom a crucial 3-2 away win at Wolves in a pulsating Coca-Cola Championship play-off semi-final first leg at Molineux.

Kevin Phillips had given Albion the lead in the 25th minute but Jody Craddock headed home Andy Keogh's left-wing cross to level before Wolves took the lead through Seyi Olofinjana's close-range effort.

Phillips added a second to restore parity again and the Baggies were bouncing again in the 72nd minute when Gary Breen played Diomansy Kamara on-side and allowed the striker to home in on goal and place a shot past goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey from an angle.
