Bantams still wait on fate

Bradford City's fate was put on hold today when administrators Kroll announced there had been "some activity" behind the scenes.

The club, with debts of around £30million, faced going out of business if they failed to find £300,000 by 10am. But after the deadline passed a Kroll spokesperson said an announcement on Bradford's future had been delayed.

The club are hoping former chairman Gordon Gibb, who is chief of the Gibb Pension Fund that owns Valley Parade, will waive the rent for next season.
