Barnett and Broncos set for Sunday service

William Kings13 April 2012

London Broncos will face Leeds on 3 March at The Valley in the opening weekend of the rugby league season before tackling Grand Final winners St Helens, again at home, a few weeks later.

That's just for starters in the 28-game season facing the Broncos in Tetley's Bitter Super League VI between March and September, and there could be more if they reach the top five play-off series, which ends with the Grand Final at Old Trafford on 13 October.

New Zealand World Cup star Richie Barnett is among the new recruits as the players start to return in the next couple of weeks for pre-season training.

Sky TV will screen live matches on Friday and Saturday nights and that prompted Broncos to agree to play their non-TV home matches on Sunday nights rather than afternoons.
