Becks at his best

14 April 2012

David Beckham believes he is finding his best form again after helping Real Madrid move eight points clear at the top of the Spanish Primera Liga.

The England captain laid on two of Madrid's goals in a 4-2 win over Celta Vigo at the Bernabeu as Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane (two) and Luis Figo scored after the visitors went in front.

Beckham said: "I think I felt a bit more comfortable against Bayern Munich (in the Champions League) than in the last month and I felt the same again.

"As long as we keep winning that's the most important thing. I've had a couple of suspensions and I felt a lot better against Bayern and again today."

Real opened up their lead after second-placed Valencia suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat at Espanyol.
