Crystal Palace must summon the spirit of 1990 to have a chance of winning the FA Cup.

The Londoners are 9-2 underdogs with BetVictor to win in 90 minutes against 8-11 favourites Manchester United.

Palace have an abysmal record against United. They have beaten them just once in their previous 20 clashes - in 2011 - while this season they finished 24 points behind Louis van Gaal’s team in the Premier League.

But very few people gave them a chance of beating Liverpool in the 1990 FA Cup semi-final, particularly after they had lost at 9-0 at Anfield earlier on in the season, and they won the match 4-3 before losing against United in the final after a replay.

That first final ended 2-2 after 90 minutes and BetVictor offer 22-1 on a repeat scoreline, while a draw at the end of normal time is 13-5.

Wilfried Zaha, who left Palace for United before returning for a second spell at Selhurst Park, is overpriced at 5-1 to score at any time. Wayne Rooney scored his 100th Premier League goal at Old Trafford on Tuesday in the win over Bournemouth and is 5-1 to break the deadlock.
