One man does not make a team but Manchester City fans will be hoping Cristiano Ronaldo fails to recover from a thigh problem in time to face their team in the Champions League semi-final second leg.

The injury forced the Portuguese star to miss the first leg at Etihad Stadium, which ended goalless. In his absence, Real's main attacking threat came from Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema but neither was able to make the breakthrough.

BetVictor make Real the 11-25 favourites to go through, with City 19-10, but it may well be worth waiting until Ronaldo's fate is known before taking a punt on the hosts. Without their talisman, Real are not the same attacking threat.

At the prices, our eyes are drawn to the 25-1 on City to win on penalties. Manuel Pellegrini's side are 6-1 with BetVictor to win by a margin of two goals or less and they can be backed at 14-1 to win and less than three goals being scored in the match. A repeat of the goalless draw from the first leg is 11-1.

Sergio Aguero is 7-2 to have the most shots during the game (bets are settled according to official statistics published by UEFA).
