Big splash for Lottery cash

Sports Minister Kate Hoey today started the building of a new £7million Olympic-size swimming pool at Loughborough University.

The 50-metre pool is a new venture by the English Institute of Sport, who are providing the bulk of the cost via lottery funding. Hoey said: "Facilities like this are vital."
