Blackburn Rovers urged to stick with Paul Ince by LMA

The League Managers Association have called on Blackburn to be patient with under-pressure boss Paul Ince.

A sixth successive Premier League defeat at Wigan last weekend extended Rovers' winless run to 11 matches and did not help Ince.

His position is certain to be discussed at Ewood Park this week after chairman John Williams expressed his disappointment with the performance at the JJB Stadium.

But LMA chief executive Richard Bevan said: "He has been there five months and has not brought in his own players. So I think we need to give Paul more time."
