Tommy Fury says he is ready to fight Jake Paul after maintaining his unbeaten professional boxing record on Saturday night.

‘TNT’ - the former Love Island star and younger half-brother of WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury - moved to 6-0 in Telford after battling to a points victory in the toughest test of his short career to date against Scotland’s Jordan Grant on the undercard of Daniel Dubois’ heavyweight comeback versus Bogdan Dinu.

Fury has been embroiled in a long-running social media feud with YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, who moved to 3-0 as a pro last month by beating former MMA fighter Ben Askren with an emphatic first-round knockout.

Asked again about fighting Paul on Saturday night, a confident Fury responded: “I’m ready, whenever. Come and get it. Listen I’m a Fury, it’s in my f*****g blood. If you want it, come and get it.”

Fury’s father John is also eager for the bout, even suggesting that it could take place on the undercard of Tyson’s third title fight against Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas in July.

However, it was confirmed earlier this week that Paul - who has also beaten fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib and ex-NBA player Nate Robinson to date - would be boxing against another MMA star in former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley on August 28.

“Good on Jake Paul, doing what he’s doing. Good luck to the kid, he’s game enough to get in the ring. Any man who gets in there is a game man,” John Fury said.

“But listen, it’s a big difference coming from no crowd to a big crowd. It’s a first night out for them, they are very noisy. It’s brand new again for him [Tommy].

“But Jake Paul, we’ll have you next mate! If you think he’s no good, we’ll take Jake Paul next. Tyson’s undercard, 24th July. Jake Paul.”
