Brede ready for tight fight

Fulham defender Brede Hangeland has described the club's position in the League table as ridiculous, but is hoping they put things right by beating Newcastle at home on Sunday.

Roy Hodgson's side are 16th in the Premier League, but are only out of the relegation zone because of their better goal difference.

Hangeland said: "If only we could have won a few of those tight games, we could have been much further up the table. It's normal for the league to be tight after the first couple of games but I haven't seen it stay this tight after 10 or 11 games."
