Brentford postponed

13 April 2012

Brentford's Second Division visit by Chesterfield tomorrow was called off today because of a frozen pitch.

A new date has yet to be decided. The postponement does mean utility player Ivar Ingimarsson will now join up with the Icelandic national team earlier than expected for their midweek friendly in Kuwait.

Meanwhile, on-loan Arsenal midfielder Steven Sidwell has agreed a deal to stay at Griffin Park for the rest of the season.

Southampton's FA Cup trip to Rotherham was also called off today and will now be played on 16 January.
