Buffon eyes England switch

Gianluigi Buffon would choose to move to England if Juventus were to show him the exit door at the end of the season.

The 32-year-old, who remains the world's most expensive goalkeeper after his move for around £32million from Parma to Juve in 2001, is under contract with the Turin giants for three more years but has been linked with Barclays Premier League clubs Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City.

"If I had to leave, I think England would be my destination," Buffon told Italy's Sky Sport 24.

"My desire to leave Juve is equal to that of Juve's will to have me leave.

"At this time there is nothing [to discuss] but there are two weeks to go [before the end of the season] and anything can happen.

"Juve always has the priority and we will see if we will decide for our paths to continue together."
