Vicarage Road wouldn't, perhaps, have been the first place you would envisage former Chelsea manager Gianluca Vialli ending up, but the urbane Italian must have been convinced of the potential there otherwise it is unlikely he would have gone near the place. Watford may not be at the cutting edge of fashionable football clubs, unlike Vialli's previous place of employment, but it wouldn't take much to transform the Hornets into a Premiership side again.
