Cahill boost for Everton

Sorely missed: Everton's Tim Cahill

Tim Cahill is ready to play his first competitive game for Everton since March in tomorrow's Merseyside derby.

The Australia midfielder broke the fifth metatarsal in his left foot seven months ago and injured it again in a pre-season friendly.

Everton manager David Moyes said: "Tim started training on Monday. There's no doubt we have missed him since he's been out."
