Capello accepts deadline disruption

Fabio Capello will adopt a sympathetic stance with any of his England players looking to seal moves away from their current clubs over the next 48 hours - he would just prefer all the paperwork to be done quickly.

England begin preparations for their Euro 2012 qualifier with Bulgaria on Tuesday morning, knowing there are only two days left before the transfer window closes. Scott Parker is the most obvious player likely to be on the move, with Tottenham set to sign the West Ham midfielder.

"I will help the players and the clubs," said Capello. "It is an open window. I just hope the players find a solution in a really short time and do not need to speak with their club at every moment."

With 11 members of his 25-man squad hailing from either Manchester United or Manchester City, who have both made such a flying start to the new season, Capello can expect to have some happy faces around at training this morning.

Their presence at London Colney will contrast sharply with the general mood on the Arsenal complex, where Theo Walcott offers some 'home' representation.

Walcott has already been forgiven by Capello for his negative assessment of the England coach in his recently-published autobiography and has a chance of claiming the right wing role as the Three Lions attempt to retain top spot in Group G.

In fact, a number of selection posers face Capello, including who should partner Wayne Rooney in attack, who will line up alongside skipper John Terry in defence and whether Micah Richards or Chris Smalling will be asked to step in for Glen Johnson at right-back.

"I will choose the best players I can at this moment," stressed Capello.

"I have three days with the players to understand which team to choose because they have only played three games, which is not a lot."
