Celtic wait on Gravesen

12 April 2012

Real Madrid midfielder Thomas Gravesen hopes to have his future sorted "within the next 48 hours", according to his agent John Sivebaek.

The 30-year-old is wanted by Celtic, although Newcastle boss Glenn Roeder is also interested in the ex-Everton player.

Sivebaek told the Scottish Daily Mail: "There is a good chance with Celtic and we will wait and see. Everything is okay financially, although we have had quite similar talks with some other clubs."

He added: "It now comes down to a decision club-to-club if they agree the transfer fee.

"There are still other clubs interested, but I think we will be getting a bit close within the next two days.

"We are working very hard on this. Hopefully, there will be a conclusion within 48 hours."
