Chad Randall the ever-ready is hailed by boss

Mr Reliable: Chad Randall has not missed a game for three years

Harlequins RL head coach Brian McDermott has hailed Chad Randall's commitment after the hooker agreed a new contract at The Stoop.

The 28-year-old, who not missed a game in more than three years, will now stay at Quins until the end of the 2011 season.

Ahead of tomorrow's Super League clash at St Helens, McDermott said: "For a player that plays in the position he does, not missing a game for so long speaks volumes of his toughness, resilience and how much he takes care of himself professionally.

"Chad is hugely influential to our team, both on and off the field, and his decision to extend his contract highlights a very promising future for this club."
