Champions League Final streaker: Totenham vs Liverpool match interrupted by pitch invader

The Champions League Final was interrupted after just 17 minutes when a streaker broke free and into the centre-circle.

Liverpool had already taken the lead inside just two minutes when Mohamed Salah, injured in Kiev against Real Madrid last year, superbly converted from the spot to hand the Reds the advantage after Moussa Sissoko was adjudged to have handled the ball.

The travelling fans from Merseyside were in fine voice after the goal but joined the Spurs supporters to condemn the woman who found her way through security just shy of 20 minutes.

Tottenham were fined €5,000 by Uefa last month when a fan made their way onto the pitch at the north Londoners’ new stadium during their quarter-final, first leg against Manchester City in early April.

The break in play was followed by a brief encouraging spell from Tottenham, with Mauricio Pochettino consulting with his assistant while the pitch invader was cleared, before Liverpool took hold again.
