Connolly makes Foxes switch

Leicester have beaten off competition from Sunderland and agreed a £500,000 fee for West Ham striker David Connolly.

The 27-year-old was set for the Stadium of Light but will now join Micky Adams's side providing he agrees personal terms and passes a medical.

Connolly joined West Ham from Wimbledon for £285,000 last year and scored 14 goals in 46 starts.
