A campaign which aims to help young people stay off the streets through involvement in sport has launched across the UK today.

Cricket Has No Boundaries is being set up in areas that have a high prevalence of crime and anti-social behaviour.

In partnership with charity Chance To Shine and bank NatWest, the campaign uses cricket to promote social cohesion within communities affected by crime.

Launching in London, Yorkshire, Hampshire, Lancashire, Middlesex and Somerset from July to September 2017, the initiative is being endorsed by cricketing legends such as Joe Root and Michael Vaughan.

The launch itself took place at The Black Prince Trust, and involved renowned English cricketers playing a game of blind cricket with children from a local primary school.
