Black Caps blow it

New Zealand crumbled to lose their Twenty20 series decider against South Africa at Eden Park.

With five overs to go the Black Caps were only 25 short of their target of 166. However, superb bowling from the visitors combined with naive batting from the hosts saw them lose by three runs to go down in the series 2-1.

Johan Botha was the hero for the Proteas with figures of 20 for two from his four overs, bowling two of the final five overs at a cost of only five runs.

Opener Jesse Ryder gave New Zealand a great start with 52 from 42 balls but his captain Brendon McCullum admitted: "When the pressure came we were found wanting."
