Britain's Olympic gold-medal winning women's team won their first game of the Scottish National Championships in Glasgow last night.

Rhona Martin, Fiona MacDonald, Janice Rankin and Debbie Knox, representing the Greenacres Curling Club in Ayrshire, grabbed a six-stone advantage in the first end of their first game back on British soil against Inverness.

They went on to lead 11-3 when opposing skip Alice Kinghorn threw in the towel with four of the 10 ends still remaining.
