David Haye faces a double blow

David Haye's goading of world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko may now backfire on him following his withdrawal from a challenge to the Ukrainian.

An injury, thought to be a back complaint, has forced the Londoner to scrap plans to fight the IBF and WBO holder in Germany on 20 June.

Haye asked for a postponement of six to eight weeks and Klitschko's manager Bernd Boente hinted that might be possible.

But the champion said: "I definitely will proceed on 20 June. I have to. That is my wish. I will look for somebody else."
