Deals for Derbyshire duo

Wayne Madsen and Mark Footitt have signed new two-year contracts with Derbyshire.

Madsen score scored 1,403 runs in his second season for the club last year, while former England Under-19 representative Footitt took 33 wickets in all competitions.

Derbyshire head of cricket John Morris said: "I am delighted to secure the services of two cricketers who could prove to be prized assets for the next two years."
