Hulse will move to spearhead Derby's promotion campaign

Derby are set to sign Sheffield United striker Rob Hulse in a £1.75m deal, but face competition from Hull for Wigan’s Marlon King.

Hulse will sign a three-year deal at Pride Park after Derby finally reached an agreement over a fee with United.

Rams boss Paul Jewell has also offered £1m to take former King on loan for the season, but Wigan want to recoup the majority of the £4.5m they paid Watford just six months ago and Hull are preparing a £3m bid.
