Surrey pace bowler Jade Dernbach and Somerset wicketkeeper-batsman Craig Kieswetter have been awarded England increment contracts for 2010-11, the England and Wales Cricket Board have announced.

Both players qualify for the contracts by virtue of having played in two Twenty20 internationals and seven one-day matches for England this summer.

ECB national selector Geoff Miller said: "This award reflects the contributions Craig and Jade have made to our T20 and one-day international teams this season and we congratulate both players on their achievement."

Non-contracted players can earn an England increment contract via a points system.

Five points are awarded for a Test appearance and two for a T20 or ODI appearance, with an increment contract being awarded automatically once the player reaches 20 points during the 12-month contract period.
