Dons' training plan

Wimbledon are planning to follow up their Milton Keynes debut by moving their training ground to the town.

The First Division club began life at the National Hockey Stadium by drawing 2-2 with Burnley to end an eight-match losing sequence. Manager Stuart Murdoch has now admitted he wants his players to train in their new surroundings.

He said: "We need to get the training ground up here. I don't know when that will be but it could come soon. We are still training at our old place in south London with people pushing prams across the pitch!"
