Double delight on the cards for Manchester United's man for all season Wes Brown

13 April 2012

Manchester United defender Wes Brown has spoken of his pride at playing 50 games for the club this season and his determination to finish the campaign as a double winner.

The 28-year-old has become a key member of the team this season — playing more times than any other United player — and recently signed a new four-year deal to remain at Old Trafford.

He said: "This is one of my best seasons. I have played every week when in other years I have been in and out of the side.

"It is great to be doing that and hopefully I can keep the run going. Two more wins would bring two trophies so that would be brilliant."

United will monitor the fitness of injured duo Nemanja Vidic, who has a facial injury, and Wayne Rooney (hip) ahead of their final league match at Wigan on Sunday.

Midfielder Nani will definitely miss out through suspension after he was sent off at the weekend for head-butting West Ham defender Lucas Neill.
