England recall Tindall

Recall: Mike Tindall
14 April 2012

Mike Tindall is back in the England squad to face Wales on Saturday week.

The Bath centre has been included in the 26-man squad by Clive Woodward and looks certain to return to bolster England's midfield.

Tindall has missed England's RBS Six Nations games against Italy, Scotland and Ireland after suffering ankle ligament damage at the end of December.

It was originally feared that he might miss the whole tournament but last week he was back in an England shirt, playing for the A team against Ireland.

Iain Balshaw, whose performance was criticised against Ireland, is also included in today's squad despite struggling with an ankle injury.

Also named are Danny Grewcock, who missed the Ireland game through injury, Julian White, who has recovered from a knee operation, and Jason Leonard.

Andy Titterrell, from Sale Sharks, has been brought in to boost Woodward's options at hooker.
