England unchanged for final Test

12 April 2012

England have named an unchanged side for this week's final npower Test against New Zealand to emulate a 123-year record.

It is the first time since 1884/5 that England have named the same line-up for five successive Test matches.

Captain Michael Vaughan said: "It is a side that has won three out of the last four games. We know there are areas that we need to work on but it is a great opportunity for our swing bowlers."

Hampshire seamer Chris Tremlett once again misses out with England preferring the line-up which fought back to claim a six-wicket victory over New Zealand in last week's second Test at Old Trafford.
