European game lands a cool £1m
Norton Rose, the London-based law firm, today announced a £1 million two-year backing for the premier European rugby competitions, the Heineken Cup and European Shield.
They are the first of what will be four partners for Heineken.
Leicester are the Heineken Cup holders while Harlequins won the Shield last season to give English clubs their first clean sweep.
David Daw, marketing director at Norton Rose, said: "Norton Rose, which has recently hit the headlines for winning high-profile lawsuits such as the case against Equitable Life and a landmark pension mis-selling case, will continue to increase exposure over the next two years from this exciting sponsorship.
