Evans bailed after rape claim

A 19-year-old man arrested in connection with an alleged rape at Manchester United's Christmas party has been released on bail, Greater Manchester Police said.
United player Jonny Evans was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of rape following the party at the Great John Street Hotel in Manchester.
Greater Manchester Police were called to the hotel at 4.15am on Tuesday following reports that a 26-year-old woman had been raped. Evans has been bailed until February 23 pending further inquiries.
