13 April 2012

Sir Alex Ferguson has tried to dampen the optimism ahead of Manchester United's Champions League semi-final, first leg against Bayer Leverkusen at Old Trafford tomorrow by insisting: "We're not at Hampden yet."

The United manager is concerned people are writing off the Germans, who beat Liverpool in the quarter-finals, and are already talking about who his team will play in the Final at Hampden Park on 15 May.

He said: "They are four points clear of Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga and that shows the standard they are playing at. It won't be easy for us tomorrow. It's going to be a test."
