FIFA fury over Lisbon farce

Angry FIFA will review the referee's report before deciding what action to take against Angola after they had four players sent off in last night's friendly with Portugal.

The game was abandoned on 67 minutes when Angola, having already used all their substitutes, had a player go down injured. A team is not allowed to play with less than seven men.

FIFA spokesman Andreas Herren said: "We must wait for the referee's report, which is expected next week."

Angola - down to eight men after just 26 minutes - were trailing 5-1 when the game in Lisbon was halted.
