Fired-up Roger Federer is ready for big finish

Roger Federer reaped the benefits of a six-week break as he ended his 10-month trophy by beating Japan's Kei Nishikori 6-1, 6-3 in the Swiss Indoors Final in Basel.

The world No4 says he is in great shape for the Paris Masters, which starts today, and the season-ending ATP World Tour Finals at the O2.

"It's been a long time since I felt so good physically," said the Swiss. "I'm feeling ready and fired up."
