Almost 80 per cent of Arsenal fans would like to see manager Arsene Wenger sign Chelsea’s Petr Cech to replaced goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
Standard Sport exclusively revealed on Friday that the Polish goalkeeper is set to undergo showdown talks with Wenger over his decrease in playing opportunities at the club, with Arsenal hoping to bring in the Blues goalkeeper this summer.

Szczesny has been at the club since 2006 and, having seen off competition from Lukasz Fabianski and Manuel Almunia, has made over 130 appearances for the club.
But tensions between the Pole and his manager have intensified this season after the goalkeeper was fined £20,000 for smoking in the showers after the Gunners’ 2-0 defeat at Southampton on New Year’s Day, a match in which Szczesny was at fault for both goals.
The Gunners will face stiff competition for Cech, but Turkish giants Besiktas have denied reports that they have already met with the goalkeeper’s representatives, while a reunion with former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid cannot be ruled out.
