AFC Wimbledon will take around 2,000 fans to MK Dons on Saturday for the first-ever League meeting between the two clubs.

Some supporters intend to boycott the match at Stadium MK because of the ill-feeling towards the club they have branded ‘Franchise FC’.

But, although emotions are still raw 14 years after the original Wimbledon were controversially moved to Milton Keynes, AFC have sold most of their away allocation for the League One fixture.

The two clubs have met four times since AFC Wimbledon were founded in 2002 and all those meetings have been at Stadium MK.

MK Dons will travel to AFC Wimbledon for the first time next March.

AFC are seventh, just outside the play-off places on goal difference.
