Liverpool winger Albert Riera is expected to join Greek side Olympiakos by the end of the week.
The Reds bought Riera for £8million in 2008 but will only receive £3.3m up front for the 28-year-old with a further £1.6m if the Greeks win the title.
Riera clashed with former boss Rafael Benitez last season but Olympiakos coach Ewald Lienen said: "He is a great player who has proven his worth at club level and for Spain."
