Alexis Sanchez trained with his Arsenal team-mates on Saturday ahead of the Community Shield.

The Gunners will face Chelsea in what is a re-run of May's FA Cup Final, which Arsene Wenger's side won 2-1.

Sanchez returned to training on Tuesday - when he took part in one-on-one drills - and has now taken part in a group session as Arsene Wenger considers whether the star will play a part on Sunday.

Wenger said: "Sanchez and [Shkodran] Mustafi I haven’t decided yet as they have just come back. I haven’t decided yet if I will involve them or not.

"We want not to take too big a gamble on a player (Sanchez) who has just come back."

Mesut Ozil did not take play a full part in open training at Emirates Stadium on Thursday – a session planned as part of the club’s Members’ Day – but is expected to shake off an ankle problem to be fit for Sunday’s Community Shield clash against Chelsea.

Aaron Ramsey is also set to be fit for Wembley.
