The Mob Museum in Las Vegas is to open an exhibit dedicated to Fifa and its recent corruption scandal, entitled “The ‘Beautiful Game’ Turns Ugly”.

The exhibit will feature photos, media clippings and narrative on the allegations that have marred football’s governing body in recent years. It will open at the Las Vegas Museum of Organised Crime and Law Enforcement on 1 September.

As well as documents on corruption in Fifa visitors to the museum will be able to see evidence from the St Valentine’s Day Massacre, a Tommy Gun and an electric chair. Guests can also take their place in a police lineup and get their photo taken as a souvenir of the day.

The museum's executive director said in a statement Tuesday that the new feature on the world's most popular sport would be of interest to Vegas' many foreign visitors.
